Purpose and Summary Statement

As a Seasonal CDL Driver with GROWMARK, Inc., you will be responsible for operating and maintaining single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks/trailers and forklifts for the delivery/pick-up of agronomy/energy products. This role requires a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain all assigned vehicles, including single, tandem, or multi-axle configurations, forklifts, and other equipment in accordance with established safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques.
  • Perform and record daily safety checks of assigned vehicle(s) and associated equipment, including pre-trip inspections, fuel and oil level checks, tire and light inspections, and brake checks.
  • Load and unload trucks according to company policies and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure that all deliveries and pick-ups, and all associated documentation, are made according to company expectations and standards.
  • Maintain company equipment according to company standards, adhere to the company Uniform Policy, and maintain a professional image.
  • Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
  • Perform basic shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a CDL License with required endorsements and any other certification, license, or permit, valid medical card, and satisfactory driving record, as applicable.
  • Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.
  • Occasionally exposed or required to extreme weather conditions, noisy conditions, working conditions that may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures, and may be required to work at varying heights.
  • Move up to 100lbs.
