Job Overview

Archetype Permanent Solutions is a leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for marine engines and backup power generation systems. As a Service Estimator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our service team.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating customer requirements and delivering precise estimates for service projects;
  • Preparing accurate service repair quotes based on comprehensive inputs from technicians, customers, and the service team;
  • Processing leads, opportunities, and estimates through our CRM system;
  • Handling website inquiries and customer requests for quotations (RFQs) via phone and email;
  • Professionally communicating and delivering quotes to customers, ensuring clarity and responsiveness;
  • Maintaining a prioritized list and diligently following up on outstanding quotes to enhance effectiveness;
  • Gathering miscellaneous information and procuring parts pricing from various manufacturers and vendors;
  • Developing new preventative maintenance (PM) proposals tailored to customer specifications and requests;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Good project management skills, capable of coordinating service projects efficiently;
  • Cross-functional and cross-departmental collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams;
  • Disciplined and organized approach to processing tasks and maintaining records;
  • Ability to handle multiple orders and tasks concurrently in a timely manner;
  • Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in quotes, proposals, and documentation;
  • Advanced computer skills preferred, including proficiency in relevant software applications;

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $57,000 to $76,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This position is an In-Person, Hybrid, or Remote role, ideally located near one of our offices in Kent, WA, or Fort Lauderdale, FL.
