About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Oncology Nursing Specialist to join our team at Workforce Solutions Virens Global. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with cancer, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, keeping the healthcare team informed of any changes or concerns.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in oncology nursing
