Laboratory Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Coordinator to join our team at Montrose Regional Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, coordinating laboratory testing, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate laboratory testing, including specimen collection, processing, and reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, test results, and laboratory reports
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a clinical or medical records role
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in laboratory information systems

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer and other office equipment, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
