Civil Engineer Draftsman

StormTrap LLC, a leading stormwater management solutions provider, is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding technical competency in engineering and construction industries.

This position involves providing design and drafting support to regional Territory Managers, General Sales Managers, and Project Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating preliminary design layouts, budget estimates, approval drawings, and shop fabrication drawings using StormTrap's proprietary software and AutoCAD.

• Support the drafting department by utilizing AutoCAD skills to create detailed designs and estimates.
• Review civil engineering plans to complete preliminary designs with general design criteria provided by managers and our CRM (Salesforce).
• Prepare detailed shop drawings utilizing 2D AutoCAD while adhering to StormTrap drawing standards and utilizing engineering design matrices and guidelines.
• Review completed work at all phases of design for completeness and correctness.

• 1-3 years of civil drafting experience required, stormwater industry and precast experience a plus.
• Outstanding 2D AutoCAD skills with 3D modeling experience.
• Must be able to read and understand civil plan sets.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. StormTrap LLC offers a comprehensive benefit package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
