Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Leidos is pursuing the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract, and currently has several openings for various levels of cloud engineers across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, configure, troubleshoot and optimize tools within AWS, Azure, Google, and/or Oracle environments
  • Integrate software and business tools into the enterprise cloud and/or Toolchain environment
  • Patch, test, and perform software updates
  • Provide, execute, and implement recommended changes, updates, and/or improvements to the existing software tools based on technical assessments
  • Build new and improved existing automation and scripted tools to scale enterprise cloud offerings
  • Assist with activities around auditing, reporting, and managing cloud-based services and offerings
  • Execute and manage special projects that enhance enterprise services environments
  • Develop workflows to help in improvements to scaling of cloud related operations across the enterprise
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes
  • Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering a learning environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelors and two (2) years or more of experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more of experience
  • Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment
  • US citizenship required
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
