Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at InGenesis. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to patients in accordance with facility privileges.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients within the scope of your discipline and perform functions in accordance with current accepted practice, licensure, certification, credentialing, and granted privileges.
- Offer comprehensive psycho-educational information to patients regarding their mental illness, emotional disturbance, or behavior disorder, treatment goals, potential benefits, and risks of treatment.
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medication treatment services, including monitoring side effects and adverse reactions.
- Respond to and coordinate response to medical emergencies.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a school in the United States, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. territory.
- Permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) for foreign medical school graduates.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Washington.
- Satisfactory completion of an approved residency training program.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Verbal proficiency in Spanish (preferred, not required).
- Ability to pass a federal government security background check.
- Ability to walk unaided at a normal pace for up to 10 minutes and maintain balance.
- Ability to respond to medical emergencies within 4 minutes, where a fast walk or jog may be necessary.
- Ability to perform CPR/emergency care standing or kneeling.
- Ability to lift, push, or carry 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time.
