Our Team
This role is part of our supply chain team, responsible for implementing best practices for converting sales forecasts into material planning, capacity planning, and scheduling to improve customer satisfaction, lead times, material and labor availability, profitability, and working capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Orchestrate all material and capacity planning activities to satisfy product forecasts, new product introductions, and aftermarket sales.
- Use data-driven analysis, mathematical modeling, and sound inventory management practices to determine optimal inventory and human resources.
- Develop and maintain supply chain and operational systems to improve planning efficiency.
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain requirements to ensure customer delivery needs are met.
- Own the deliverables, cadence, and action items for long-term supply chain and capacity planning processes.
- Implement flexible material processes and systems to provide shortage risk visibility, safety stock levels, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Science, or Business with 10+ years of related experience is preferred; equivalent education and experience is required.
5+ years of supervisory experience in a similar role is required.
Working knowledge of Lean practices; Daily Management, Standard Work, Kaizen, Heijunka, Poka-yoke, and Gemba.
Systematic with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to critically assess situations and logically create a framework with incomplete information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to persist through challenges and solve problems.
Ability to positively influence the actions of colleagues outside the direct reporting structure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership.
Able to develop solutions to complex problems which require an in-depth degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness.
Ability to mentor, lead, and influence teams.
