Work Schedule: Our 1st shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will be required to work every other weekend and every other holiday. When you work on a recognized holiday, you will be paid time and a half for your hours worked. Additionally, you will receive a $1.00/hour weekend premium.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have or be actively pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. While experience is preferred, it is not required. We are looking for individuals with excellent customer service, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively. You must also be able to prioritize tasks and have excellent organizational skills. Finally, you will be required to pass a background check and drug test, including a test for marijuana.

Responsibilities: As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and disinfecting services throughout the hospital. This will include emptying trash cans, cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, floors, common areas, and changing bed linens. You will also be expected to exhibit a professional demeanor and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information at all times. Additionally, you may be required to move furniture and other heavy objects for routine and non-routine cleaning, as well as assist with patient moves. You will use equipment and supplies properly and report any needed repairs or restocking to the appropriate individual. Finally, you will be expected to multitask and stick to a schedule while also responding to incidents as they occur throughout the day.
