Key Responsibilities

The Restaurant Team Player is responsible for delivering effective results in the areas of quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness, and product preparation. This involves:

  • Exhibiting a cheerful and helpful manner when interacting with guests
  • Demonstrating a complete understanding of our menu items and being able to explain them accurately to guests
  • Using the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and compute order amounts, collecting payment from guests
  • Understanding and adhering to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow all Company operation policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and grooming standards
  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through
  • General knowledge of computers and POS systems
  • Ability to perform basic business math skills and cash handling
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate and develop close, effective relationships with colleagues, department managers, partners, and the public

Work Environment and Requirements

The Restaurant Team Player will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and will be required to:

  • Stand and walk for approximately 95-100% of the shift
  • Bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Travel to assigned restaurant locations

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $12.50 per hour, based on the location and job requirements. Benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
