We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Cross Country Allied. This is a unique opportunity to work as a travel allied professional in a skilled nursing facility in Newport, Oregon.

About the Job

This 13-week assignment offers an excellent chance to gain experience and skills while exploring new places. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients regain independence and quality of life.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Review medical histories and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans
  • Assess patient progress and make recommendations for equipment and interventions
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct swallowing, speaking, and understanding assessments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility
  • A degree in a relevant field
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license
