The Nurse Consultant for Public Health is a critical role within Baptist Health, focused on protecting the well-being of patients and communities. As a seasoned nurse leader, this individual will oversee the Infection Surveillance, Prevention, and Control program, leveraging expertise in epidemiology and public health to drive innovation and improvement. Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing surveillance data, developing strategic plans, and collaborating with external partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, DNP, or PhD preferred
  • Current RN Licensure or work permits in Kentucky
  • Minimum five years current nursing experience and critical care experience preferred
  • APIC or SHEA Training Course in Infection Prevention and Control (or equivalent) upon employment and attainment of certification as soon as eligibility criteria are met

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
