Diagnostic Hearing Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
This role offers an opportunity to serve the Veteran community and make a meaningful difference in their lives. As an Audiologist with MRG Exams, you will conduct thorough medical evaluations using standardized tests such as the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
The assessment process involves reviewing electronic medical records, completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ), and documenting findings. It is essential to note that this position does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices.
You will work closely with Veterans to understand their needs and provide accurate assessments to support their claims. The average caseload for this role is 3-6 assessments per day, allowing for efficient and focused work.
This full-time position comes with a competitive salary, estimated at $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Benefits include malpractice insurance, health insurance options, and ASHA Learning Pass membership for ongoing professional development.
To be successful in this role, you must hold an Au.D. from an ASHA Accredited school, have a current license as an Audiologist, and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
