Position Overview

The Tennis Facility Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of court conditions at Keswick Hall and Club. This role is essential in ensuring that our tennis courts are safe, clean, and ready for play.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Daily Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of the tennis courts each day to remove any litter or debris that may affect play.
  2. Net Maintenance: Ensure that nets and center straps are properly tightened and adjusted; replace them when they show signs of wear.
  3. Lighting Checks: Regularly inspect and maintain lighting fixtures to ensure they are fully operational.
  4. Surface Care: Level out any divots on the court surface to maintain optimal playing conditions.
  5. Boundary Line Maintenance: Keep boundary lines clean, straight, and secure; remove any loose nails that may pose a hazard.
  6. Surface Treatment: Brush and roll the court surface on a daily basis to preserve its quality.
  7. Watering: Water the courts after play concludes each day to maintain surface integrity.
  8. Repair Reporting: Communicate any necessary repairs to the Director of Tennis promptly.
  9. Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with members, guests, and staff to enhance the overall experience.
  10. Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the tennis operations.
