MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Randallstown, Maryland.
About the Role- As a CT Technologist with MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis.
- You will work closely with radiologists to assist with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media as needed.
- Our ideal candidate will have 18 months of prior experience as a CT Tech in a healthcare setting and be certified by ARRT (CT) or ASRT.
- Additionally, you will be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Set controls of the related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
- Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media if applicable
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
- Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
- Charge procedures and supplies used to patient record
- Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
