Job Title: Trauma Physician Assistant

Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), a service of Dignity Health, is seeking a Trauma/Acute Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA.

About the Role

The Trauma/Acute Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be part of an experienced surgical team, helping the busiest community in Santa Barbara County. Marian Regional Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center, providing care to over 1500 trauma patients annually alongside the emergency department which sees around 65,000 patients annually.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced trauma environment
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of trauma protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical staff on trauma care
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited PA program
  • Current California PA License
  • Current DEA license or eligible to obtain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
