Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal image quality
  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal image quality
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of radiographic techniques and procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology
  • Previous radiology experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of Radiology Information Computer System
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. The Radiology Technologist will be exposed to radiation and will be required to operate heavy equipment. The ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance is required.
