Key Responsibilities: As a Fire Prevention Specialist at Dextera Corporation, you will be responsible for

  • Conducting on-site inspections of buildings to identify hazardous conditions and code violations
  • Providing corrective recommendations to bring properties into compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  • Inspecting and testing fire protection and detection systems to ensure proper installation
  • Conducting follow-ups to verify compliance with recommended corrective actions
  • Writing detailed reports of inspections, findings, and recommendations

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of four years of related experience. Certification as a Fire Inspector (I, II, or III) is preferred. You should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders.

Working Conditions: This position requires extended periods of standing, walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and bending. You may be exposed to disagreeable elements such as heat, humidity, inclement weather, loud noise, and pathogens. Work will be performed within the interior of buildings, existing structures, and exterior inspections of properties.
