Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer with a Frontend focus at OneRail is accountable for designing and implementing dynamic, responsive user interfaces. This position focuses on delivering outstanding user experiences, enhancing frontend performance, and ensuring seamless integration with backend services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement frontend features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient frontend code following best practices.
  • Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Identify and fix frontend bugs and performance issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends and technologies.
  • Mentor junior frontend engineers and contribute to team growth.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend software development.
  • Proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and Webpack.
  • Strong understanding of frontend UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience with state management libraries like MobX.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
