Job Description

As a key member of the Eurest team, the General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our corporate cafes and executive dining rooms. This role requires a strong leader who can maintain excellent relationships with employees, guests, and clients, while ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the account in accordance with the approved budget while meeting client expectations.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with employees, guests, and clients.
  • Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team.
  • Foster strong interdepartmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Eight to ten years of upscale food service experience, including six years at the management level.
  • Experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, evaluation, and succession planning.
  • Proven track record of achieving company goals in compliance with company/client policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory, scheduling, training, and coaching skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay on task with constant interruptions.
  • Experience in food purchasing, food costs, and inventory control.
  • Ability to create budgets, flash reports, financial targets, and forecasts.
