About the Role

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is seeking a skilled Facilities Management Lead in Richmond, VA to oversee apartment maintenance at Southbank and Hopper Lofts. This position offers a regular work week with on-call hours as needed.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description

The successful candidate will arrive each morning determined to ensure that our properties are in good repair. As a Facilities Management Lead, you will expertly oversee and complete apartment work orders and apartment turnovers. You will be a jack of all trades, ready for any task that comes your way.

You will maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical work while assisting in common areas, property buildings, and pool maintenance. Additionally, you will complete preventative maintenance to ensure that everything is in working order.

You will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that each shift brings a combination of daily checklists, occasional tasks, and unexpected surprises. Your ability to solve problems and think critically will be essential in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Facilities Management Lead, you will need:

  • 5+ years of Maintenance experience in residential community or similar
  • CFC & HVAC certification required
  • Training in plumbing and electrical
  • Working knowledge and experience in general apartment maintenance (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliances, repair, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license
