The Material Analyst position at E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. is a key role in the Supply Management function, responsible for maximizing value delivery through data analysis and strategic decision-making support. This hybrid schedule role requires a combination of data analysis, model development, and customer-facing skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively.

  • Conduct research and build models to analyze historical spend and material management/inventory data, administer supply chain support systems, and assist in maintaining systems/platforms.
  • Develop material management strategies based on research and analysis of historical spend, supply base, and material management market trends.
  • Build reports for internal stakeholders and external clients, and develop user training materials and technical manuals.
  • Track material and supplier performance, and produce reports on related performance metrics on a periodic basis.
  • Act as liaison to related stakeholders and suppliers, and support demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management activities.

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business, Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • Three to five years of directly relevant experience in procurement or supply chain analysis, or financial analytics/business consulting.
  • Demonstrated customer service capabilities, advanced problem-solving, analytical, and research abilities.
  • Data analytics, forecasting development, and customer focus skills.
  • Persuasive communication and presentation skills, and strong computer skills, including SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting and business finance principles, and demonstrated forecasting model experience in a utility or heavy construction industry.
