Job Title: Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer or scientist to design and set up complex hardware in the loop (HWIL or HIL) systems to test weapon systems critical to our nation's defense.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build hardware in the loop setups around unique weapon systems
  • Program in C++ with a focus on understanding latency, thread safety, and data communication
  • Work with embedded hardware systems and sensors, understanding electrical interfaces and communications protocols
  • Document code and leverage CI/CD systems to ensure efficient development and deployment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with hardware in the loop, embedded systems, or C++ 6-DOF simulations
  • Strong software programming skills and experience with multi-threaded systems and object-oriented code
  • Deep understanding of electrical signals and embedded system communication
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Significant experience designing and setting up hardware in the loop test beds
  • Experience designing high-fidelity software simulations for flying platforms (missiles, planes, projectiles)
  • Familiarity with weapon systems, such as missiles, seekers, and naval platforms
  • Knowledge of CUDA, FPGAs, compilers, MPSoC, networking protocols, Python, Matlab, and Simulink
