About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Agent to join our team at Courtyard Petaluma. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring that every interaction with our guests is memorable and enjoyable.

Job Summary

This role involves handling all aspects of guest registration, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments. You will also be responsible for answering phone calls, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities
  • Registration: Greet guests, check them in, assign rooms, and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Phone Handling: Answer and respond to phone calls from guests, resolve their queries, and take messages as needed.
  • Guest Relations: Assist guests with any requests or concerns, such as extra towels, late check-outs, or special requests.
  • Room Assignments: Ensure that rooms are assigned efficiently and effectively, taking into account guest preferences and availability.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related industry an asset.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, high energy level, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work well under pressure.
