We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team at Cooper Steel Inc. as an in-office position. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Field team with various HR-related tasks, including recruiting, training, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and other areas as needed.
Responsibilities- Establish credibility with the field management team and all field employees to provide effective support and guidance.
- Implement and maintain all HR policies and company guidelines consistently.
- Deliver comprehensive training and onboarding programs for new employees.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including managing job postings, scheduling interviews, making job offers, and conducting pre-employment screenings.
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Manage leave of absence cases and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze and report HR data using our HRIS system.
- Cultivate open communication and provide guidance to management and employees as needed.
- Visit job sites when necessary to support employee communications.
- Adapt promptly to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Human Resources.
- Bilingualism in Spanish is an asset but not required.
The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $55,000-$65,000, depending on qualifications and location.
