Job Title: Staff Development Coordinator - RN

">

Job Summary:

">
  • Coordinate staff development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.">
  • Act as personnel health nurse for the facility, providing medical support and guidance to employees.">
  • Develop and implement orientation programs for new employees, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and onboarding.">
  • Conduct regular training sessions on blood borne pathogens, hazard communication standards, and other essential topics to ensure staff safety and compliance.">
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of in-house training sessions and workshops, promoting continuous learning and professional growth among staff members.">
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Management Team to review incident reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.">
  • Supervise nursing staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure timely completion of work assignments.">
  • Make informed decisions regarding nursing practices, prioritizing patient care and staff well-being.">
  • Teach, instruct, and direct ongoing education and in-services, empowering staff to deliver high-quality care and services.">

Requirements:

">
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.">
  • Five years of experience in long-term care or nursing education.">
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient care and genuine interest in geriatric nursing.">
  • CPR certification and commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills.">
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills, with a focus on staff development and performance management.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.">
  • Ability to read, know, and follow established procedures, regulations, and policies.">

Compensation:

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
