About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Data Engineer to work with our team and help us build a robust and scalable cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

As a Data Engineer for Cloud Platforms, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
  • Developing and maintaining high-performance data processing systems using languages like Python and Java.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data engineering solutions with business requirements.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of GCP services, including Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
