About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Crossbore Technician Trainee to join our team at Hydromax USA. As a key member of our field services team, you will play a critical role in assisting with the operation of our CCTV camera and equipment to ensure the safety and reliability of our community's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in detecting cross-bored wastewater lines and collecting field data using ESRI GPS software during inspections.
  • Establish a safe work zone, including positioning safety items such as traffic cones and signs.
  • Prepare the CCTV robot and equipment under the direction of the operator, while cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Dispatch the tractor unit securely into the pipe using a crane or hook.
  • Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.
  • Ability to walk 2 to 5 miles or more per day on various terrain and in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work with sewer and wastewater utility lines.
  • Lift 50+ pounds of equipment regularly throughout the day.
  • Proficient in using current technology such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
