About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pellet Production Operator to join our team at Lignetics, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires rotating 12-hour day and night shifts with 8 hours of built-in overtime.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our pellet mills and dryers, ensuring optimal production levels while meeting safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and adjusting four pellet mills and regular dryer inlet and outlet temperatures according to specifications;
  • Monitoring bin levels and regulating material mix to achieve the optimal pellet moisture and density ratio;
  • Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, spot fires, and hot bearings;
  • Maintaining pellet mill feed rates and adjusting or changing pellet mill rolls/dies as needed;
  • Completing daily reports detailing temperature readings, dried material moisture, and performing density checks per specifications.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • One to two years of experience in production settings, preferably in an industrial environment;
  • A working knowledge of all aspects of the production process;
  • Process controls experience is a plus;
  • Ability to pass the company forklift certification;
  • Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds waist-high and stand for up to 12 hours per day;
  • Ability to use catwalks and climb ladders safely;
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.

Location

This role is based in Show Low, AZ, and requires flexibility to work rotating shifts.

$20/hour + shift differential pay during certain hours, making the estimated annual salary approximately $42,000-$45,000.
