Project Cost Controls Specialist F+G

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathers, logs, and summarizes project data to be used in technical studies or project performance reviews.
  • Assists in project estimate development with the project manager.
  • Manages the change order process.
  • Reviews invoices.
  • Assists with annual budgeting.
  • Responsible for project cost tracking and forecasts.
  • Responsible for progress reporting.
  • Develops in-service cost profiles.
  • Provides variance explanations.
  • Develops cost profiles.
  • Develops payment applications.
  • Tracks AFE funding levels.
  • Logs accruals and tracks outstanding invoices.
  • Performs spend analysis and WBS coding.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field, plus zero to three years of relevant experience in project/cost controls.
  • Microsoft Excel and computer skills required to enter data in spreadsheets or databases.
  • Experience managing large data sets and performing pivot tables and lookups for analysis.
  • General competencies expected of all employees include client service, commitment, communication, innovation and continuous improvement, professionalism, quality, and teamwork.
  • Performs routine technical support assignments.
