Job Summary

The Claims Manager position at Orion180 Group Inc. is a key role in our company's success, overseeing insurance claims related to property damage and first-party liability. This senior-level position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of insurance regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of claims adjusters to ensure efficient and effective claim handling.
  • Review claims and determine coverage, working closely with adjusters and appraisers to assess property damage.
  • Negotiate settlements with policyholders or their representatives, maintaining relationships with stakeholders and providing regular updates on claim status.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve claims processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement technologies to enhance claims management processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Execute and manage catastrophe response efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and effective support.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, risk management, or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in property claims management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and policies, including compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
  • Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
