Job Summary

GlobalSource IT is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Finance Business Analyst to support the finance needs of our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing SAP solutions, and providing expert-level support for finance applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business requirements gathering and document functional requirements for finance applications.
  • Design and implement SAP solutions to meet business needs, including configuration, testing, and ongoing support.
  • Document and support SAP integration with other financial applications, such as Concur, Kronos, and OneStream.
  • Meet business-defined deadlines and recommend options or solutions that meet business needs and desired functionality.
  • Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of SAP FICO production support experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP FICO and one or more SAP modules, including hands-on configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation.
  • Understanding of performing consolidation steps in SAP ECCS, including intercompany elimination, translation, and posting manual JEs in ECCS.
  • Proven impact on the success of finance implementations/upgrades.
  • Strong LSMW experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical competency.
  • Strong analytical and model development skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to relate and work well with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Working knowledge of the inter-relationship between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and take ownership of projects with minimal oversight and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Solid project management and financial analysis experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple duties/projects simultaneously.
  • Strong financial business understanding with the ability to review and evaluate financial reporting needs and trend analysis.
  • Strong Report Painter experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple business functions and SAP PS (Project System), SAP MM (Material Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP PP (Production Planning).
  • Understanding of product costing in a manufacturing environment and ability to provide training on creating cost estimates.
  • 5+ years of leading and coordinating work for small to medium projects, improving business processes.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Project System integration.
  • Ability to define user requirements and corresponding system specifications, accurate time estimates, work breakdown structure (WBS), and clear and concise documentation.
  • Results-oriented motivator with a can-do attitude, strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and flexibility to manage various priorities.
  • Ability to perform moderately complex system and business process analysis, identify inadequate or inefficient systems, and recommend alternatives to reduce cost or increase efficiency.
  • Contribution to project estimating and planning efforts, providing input/clarity on business requirements and implementation options.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple assignments/projects simultaneously.
  • Experience preparing and leading training, change management, and information sessions for end users.
  • Ability to manage own workload, accurately estimate effort for tasks, and work with business users on priorities/goals.
  • Experience with at least three full SAP implementation lifecycles.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Green Card Holder.
  • Experience with LATAM countries (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina) localization.
