Job Summary:
RBM Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of our multifamily real estate assets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to learn and develop essential maintenance skills under the guidance of an experienced maintenance supervisor.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining the operational integrity of our facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete maintenance work orders and make ready tasks as assigned by the Service Manager and Community Manager.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance plans for the community.
  • Communicate with Service Manager and Community Manager daily and report deficiencies with the assets, resident issues, and propose action to repair/correct.
  • Communicate with the Service Manager and Community Manager when shop inventory is low.
  • Perform ground maintenance, assist with trash removal, and participate in property inspections daily and as directed by the Service Manager or Community Manager.
  • Ensure the buildings are kept in top shape inside and outside the buildings.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both residents and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Check and respond to company email daily.
  • Will participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in the multifamily industry.

Working knowledge of basic carpentry items.

The ability to lift, move, carry up to 50lbs.

The ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and reach up to 100% of the day.

The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40lbs.

The ability to work outside in various weather conditions.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
