Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a Medical Imaging Specialist to fill an ongoing position in New Braunfels, Texas.
Job SummaryThis full-time role involves working as a Mammography Technologist, utilizing advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Operate complex medical imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT registration (R) in Mammography.
- 1+ year of experience in mammography, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health care FSA, dependent care FSA, life insurance, and more.
