Cardiologist - Travel Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our team in performing Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams for U.S. military veterans.

This is a unique opportunity for a cardiologist to provide critical evaluations for veterans with cardiovascular conditions while traveling across the United States. The role is designed for passionate professionals who are eager to make a difference in the lives of our nation's veterans.

About the Role:

  • Perform C&P exams on veterans with heart-related conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular diseases, and more.
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations including reviewing patient history, performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests (EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms), and assessing the severity of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Provide clear, comprehensive medical reports detailing your findings, including an assessment of service connection and the degree of disability for each veteran.
  • Travel to various locations across the U.S. to perform exams, with opportunities to schedule multiple evaluations in one region for efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Board-certified cardiologist with an active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
  • Prior experience in performing clinical exams, cardiovascular assessments, and diagnostic testing.
  • Strong understanding of Compensation and Pension (C&P) exam processes and VA disability guidelines is a plus.
  • Ability to complete detailed, thorough medical reports in a timely manner.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with veterans.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the United States.
