Job Summary

Immunotek Plasma is seeking a dedicated LPN or LVN to join our team as a Physician Substitute. In this role, you will perform donor medical evaluations, determine donor eligibility, and monitor donors during the plasma collection process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct screening procedures, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and arm checks.
  • Perform finger sticks for hematocrit and total protein testing using screening equipment.
  • Evaluate donor eligibility by conducting medical history interviews and physical examinations.
  • Educate donors on testing procedures, donation risks, and informed consent.
  • Monitor donors during the plasma collection process and respond to any adverse events.
  • Communicate effectively with the Center Medical Director and management during emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP standards.
  • Accurately document and manage donor records in the donor management system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active LPN/LVN license in the state of Arkansas required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
