Job Title: Radiologist for Evening Acute Care Body Imaging

Emory University School of Medicine's Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking a full-time Radiologist to read evening emergency department and inpatient work.

About the Role

This evening position rotates 1 week on (7 days, 9-hour shift, 6p-3am) and 2 weeks off (inclusive of recovery, vacation, CME, academic).

This equates to 121 clinical shifts per year. 17 weeks of remote clinical evenings per year Remote from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska.

Responsibilities
  • Provide interpretations in conjunction with trainees at one of the Southeast's busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital).
  • Focus on chest and abdominal imaging, with the option to read other emergency imaging exams.
  • Participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision.
Requirements
  • ABR Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
  • Subspecialty training or emergency imaging experience is desired.
