**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Clayton County Public Schools. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students.

**Job Description**

The ideal candidate will have a Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited university and experience providing psychological assessment and counseling to students in a K-12 educational setting. You will be responsible for conducting individual evaluations, coordinating state and local standardized testing, collecting data, and preparing reports as required by local, state, and federal agencies.

You will also participate as a member/consultant in the Student Support Team, 504, and Individual Education Plan process to assist in determining and implementing educational and behavioral goals and objectives. Additionally, you will provide direct services to students to support academic and behavioral goals, provide leadership and oversight to teachers and principals, and serve on professional committees.

**Requirements**

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills. They will have the ability to handle sensitive personnel matters in a timely and professional manner, make decisions and recommendations that affect the activities of others, and evaluate student evaluations and approve general recommendations.

**Salary and Benefits**

This is a Grade 28, 200-day position that pays for experience up to a Step 8. The estimated annual salary range for this position is $62,000 - $83,000 based on experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
