Job Summary

Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our company, clients, and employees. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer relations and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform start-up and testing services on instrumentation, VFDs, emergency lighting inverters, PLCs, and other industrial control equipment.
  • Identify problems and troubleshoot failures in the above-mentioned items.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility in working hours and occasional overtime.
  • Travel to out-of-area jobs for up to two weeks, with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • AAS degree in instrumentation, mechatronics, or industrial electronics.
  • Previous employment involving troubleshooting of industrial devices.
  • Understanding of hazards around electrical circuits.
  • Customer relations and communication skills, report writing, and self-starter mentality.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Familiarity and experience working on VFDs, PLCs, DC drives, instrumentation, UPSs, battery systems, and lighting inverters.
