We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Assistant to join our team at Damar Services. As a Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing a variety of activities related to health, physical education, recreation, and aquatics for individuals served by Damar.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Recreation Director in providing aquatic assessments, training, and certification services for clients and staff.
- Maintain inventory of all supplies affiliated with the pool and fitness center.
- Participate in maintaining Damar's pool and fitness facility.
- Maintain neat, chronological, and timely records of assigned recreational events and activities.
- Be at least 21 years old to work in our Children's Residential program.
- Be able to provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience implementing recreational programs for children with developmental and/or emotional disabilities is desired.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical.
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar's background screening.
