Position Summary:

This position plays a vital role in the daily functions of Cash Accounting, merging traditional accounting responsibilities with operational support for ensuring customer payment accuracy. Key duties encompass the preparation of general ledger entries, monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and the enforcement of relevant internal controls. A solid understanding of accounting principles, along with the capability to investigate and reconcile intricate accounts, is essential. Strong communication skills are also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare entries for the general ledger.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Implement and comply with applicable internal controls.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including internal departments and external partners.
  • Contribute to monthly analyses and explanations of banking and processing fees.
  • Assist with requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Be prepared for occasional overtime, especially during month-end closing periods, to fulfill job responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A college degree in Accounting and/or Finance with 1-3 years of relevant professional experience; or 5+ years of related professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Compensation:

The starting salary range for this position is $43,500 to $53,800.
