Fenway Health LPN Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time LPN to join our team at Fenway Health. This role involves providing specialized nursing support for patients and medical providers, phone support and triage, as well as general support for other clinical activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing patient triage, developing care plans, and implementing referrals
  • Administering comprehensive evaluations of patient telephone callers, 'Code Blue' events, and walk-in patients
  • Advocating for patient care as a nurse member of the multidisciplinary medical team
  • Care plan communication to patients in a timely manner
  • Documenting triage encounters in medical records

In this role, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will also be responsible for coordinating services, arranging lab tests and referrals, and documenting all appropriate activities and plans.

Requirements:
  • Current licensure as an LPN in Massachusetts
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals
  • Willingness to contribute towards Fenway's efforts in becoming an anti-racist organization

This is a union position in a Fenway Health bargaining unit represented by 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East. We offer competitive salaries, and for those who qualify, an excellent benefits package, including comprehensive medical and dental insurance plans, and a retirement plan with employer match. Salary: $28.21-$31.13 per hour.
