Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy and be certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and RRT. The role requires working 36 hours per week with a 12-hour night shift schedule. Every other weekend and two of three major holidays are also required.

About the Role

This travel therapist will work in an inpatient setting, covering both the main hospital and Foothills Freestanding ED. The unit notes specify that there is a Charge RRT on each shift, and the traveler may float to Foothills. Vent equipment includes Avea, Hamilton C1, Bipap-V60, EV300, HiFlow, Aerovo 2, and Zoll vents for backup.

Requirements

  • 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
  • Certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and RRT
  • Ability to intubate or assist as needed
  • Experience with Epic EMR system
  • Active license in AZ or Compact

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
