Staff Pharmacist FT

Key Responsibilities:- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices and procedures, and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to controlled substances and patient confidentiality.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, including answering questions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Personnel Management: Supervise and develop pharmacy technicians and support staff, and participate in performance evaluations and development planning.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial performance of the pharmacy by managing expenses, improving efficiency, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks, including those related to patient safety, inventory management, and financial performance.
- Workflow Management: Ensure efficient workflow processes, including those related to patient care, inventory management, and customer service.

Requirements:
- Active Pharmacy License: Must be licensed to practice as a pharmacist in the state in which you are employed.
- Immunization Certification: Must be certified in immunizations through an accredited organization.
- No Pending Felony Charges: Must not have any pending felony charges or convictions related to controlled substances.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
