About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients in the grocery and foodservice industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the grocery and foodservice market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at our clients, understanding their business needs and developing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and other key performance indicators (KPIs) as established by management.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • 10+ years of digital ad sales experience as an individual contributor selling performance-based advertising or similar offering experience.
  • Experience managing internal and external relationships, with a strong ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Experience in high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience growing a product to maturity through collaboration with product teams.
  • Experience presenting to SVP and C-Level executives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
