Insurance Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare accounts for new business and the renewal process as directed by the broker.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Deliver optimal client coverage and suggest steps for client retention.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Support the broker in creating market submissions and quote cover letters for agents.

Relationship Building:

- Build relationships with brokers and demonstrate understanding of brokerage operations to proactively support business needs.

Business Development:

- Collaborate with the broker to drive renewals and solicit new business through client referrals.

Account Management:

- Prepare new business strategies in collaboration with brokers, including proposals and presentations for new client opportunities.

Risk Management:

- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with accounts.

Data Management:

- Maintain accuracy of new and existing data in internal systems.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate reports on performance and other defined metrics.

Market Insights:

- Leverage data and insights to inform the broker on portfolio trends.

Contractual Obligations:

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contractual obligations are met.

Client Service:

- Resolve invoicing issues with stakeholders in Premium Accounting.

Communication:

- Communicate on notices of cancellation.

This role requires at least 1 year of experience in the insurance industry, minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses within a designated time period if not currently licensed, and a Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Sales, Risk Management, or similar preferred).
