Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team in Kennewick, Washington. As a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts. You will work closely with patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but do not need intensive care unit (ICU) care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and detect any changes that may indicate a life-threatening situation.
  • Administer medications and titrate complex medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Requirements:

  • A valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care PCU setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
