About Phat Panda

Phat Panda, a renowned cannabis dispensary, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team at our Springfield, MA location. As a key member of our sales staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating customers on our products, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17 plus tips, making this a lucrative opportunity for those passionate about the cannabis industry. In addition to a salary, you can expect to earn additional income through commissions and bonuses.

About the JobJob Description:

As a Budtender at Phat Panda, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience
  • Greeting customers, answering product-related questions, and offering recommendations
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of our products, including strains, edibles, and extracts
  • Processing transactions accurately, handling cash, and operating POS systems efficiently
  • Ensuring the sales floor remains fully stocked and organized at all times
  • Participating in regular cleanings and meetings to maintain a professional environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 21 years of age
  • Preferred experience as a Budtender or in a related cannabis industry role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Precise math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
  • Familiarity with marijuana strains, edibles, and current products on the market
  • English/Spanish speaking proficiency
Physical Requirements:

This position requires:

  • Standing/walking for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Lifting at least 50 pounds safely and properly
  • Regularly reaching overhead, bending, squatting, kneeling, and carrying products
