Job Description

This exciting role involves developing 3D models, approval drawings, and documents required for sourcing and manufacturing of products in the contract furniture industry. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including Estimating, Project Management, Purchasing, and Production, to ensure seamless collaboration and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D models and approval drawings using Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and Woodworking for Inventor
  • Create cut sheets, cultists, and material summary lists from 3D models
  • Design vendor drawings for custom parts, such as glass, metal, stone, and Corian
  • Review documents created using review checklists and maintain order status in our timeline document (Excel)
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration throughout the organization
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Previous engineering experience, preferably in contract furniture
  • Strong technical skills in Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
