At Care Options for Kids, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team. As a School Psychologist Hybrid position, this role offers the opportunity to work both on-site and remotely.

Compensation: This is a salaried position with an estimated hourly rate of $56 per hour, paid bi-weekly. The annual salary range is approximately $116,000 - $140,800 per year.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution of higher education and be licensed to practice in their state. They will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and be able to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.

A successful Child Development Specialist will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills. They will also possess knowledge of therapy skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice and be responsive to requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and address learning and behavioral issues
  • Collaborate with educators to design interventions for a positive school environment
  • Conduct assessments and advocate for students' mental health
  • Maintain confidentiality of data and information

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Current Active State License to practice School Psychology in the state you are looking to work within
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure
